DIN-Rail Meters: The Modular Workhorse

A DIN-rail meter clips onto a standard 35 mm mounting rail inside a distribution board or meter cabinet. It is compact, modular, and installs in seconds without drilling. Which One Should You Choose?

Wiring and CT Considerations

Both form factors are available as direct-connected (up to 100 A typical) or transformer-operated with external current transformers for higher currents. Always size the CT ratio so full load sits between 60–100% of the CT primary, and keep CT secondary wiring short and twisted to preserve accuracy.
